The ‘09 Youth Retreat

Praise the Lord for this year’s youth retreat! Over forty youth and adults went up to the Greenwood Hills Retreat Center in Pennsylvania for our annual OBC Winter Youth Retreat. It was a great weekend of late night conversations, frozen t-shirts, small groups, getting warm by the fireplace, new friends, strange foods, snowballs, and learning to develop a heart after God. This year’s retreat was focused on Matthew 9:13, “Go, and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’” Thank you for your prayers and support, and thank you to those who provided scholarships to our students!
